Validity of gift certificates

Gift certificates are only valid for packages or train tickets for the 2026 train season (expiration date: 11/01/2026)

Reservation opening

Reservations open starting April 1, 2026 on the Train de Charlevoix website: Train de Charlevoix or with our advisors at 1 833 616-7135

Unavailability of packages

In the event that the presold package or train tickets are no longer available, we will offer you an equivalent substitute at the price of this service, at the time the gift certificate sale was concluded.

Loss or theft

In case of loss or theft, a $10 fee may be charged for renewal of your Gift Certificate.

Refund period

From the purchase of your gift certificate you have 30 days to return it if you no longer want it and obtain a refund

No refund after use

In case of non-use, no refund can be made

Partner establishment restrictions

No particular restrictions with our partner establishments with the exception of:

• •Hôtel Cap-aux-Pierres - valid Monday to Thursday from June 8 to October 11, 2026
• •Le Germain Charlevoix - Valid Sunday to Friday only from June 5 to September 24 and every day from September 25 to November 1, 2026

Non-redeemable for cash

The Gift Certificate cannot be redeemed or exchanged for money, as it is non-redeemable. It also cannot be used as credit or partial payment for services or packages different from those listed on the Train de Charlevoix website.

Terms applicable to presale packages

A refund is possible within 30 days of purchasing gift packages. Once applied to a date, they are neither refundable nor modifiable. These conditions are an integral part of the sale. The reservation corresponds only to the choice of dates, the sale having already been concluded under these terms.

Terms applicable to regular packages

Hotel packages purchased from April 1st onwards may be cancelled or modified up to 15 days before departure, subject to a fee of $100 per person. After this deadline, no refund or modification will be granted.

Ticket purchases

All tickets purchased are non-refundable and non-changeable, under any circumstances. Please verify the accuracy of the information (date, time, destination) before completing your transaction.

Schedule or itinerary changes

The company reserves the right to modify schedules, stops, or the itinerary without notice, due to operational constraints, weather conditions, safety reasons, or any other situation beyond its control.

No refund, compensation, or indemnity will be granted in the event of:

• •Delays to departures and arrivals
• •Schedule changes
• •Seat changes
• •Service disruptions caused by external or unforeseen events

Limited liability

The company cannot be held responsible for additional expenses incurred (e.g., accommodation, meals, alternative transportation) resulting from a schedule change, delay, or cancellation.
